     Please let me start by introducing myself. My name is Michel Battles. I am the owner of The Communotech Lab we specialize in communication and technology training. I have 20 years of experience with computers and assistive technology. We are currently located at 200 west Douglas ave suite 700 in The Garvy Center, here in Wichita. We offer computer training to individuals of all needs.   Offering training at 3 different levels, beginners, intermediate and advanced. Communotech will give your clients the skills necessary for today’s employment markets.

Computer powered jobs such as, customer service, dispatch, retail clerk, office assistant, receptionist which are in high demand.  The trick is to be able to build the skills to be marketable in these fields.  With Assistive technology in place and good solid training support the clients going through VR will have the tools necessary to move forward.

For the College bound student, we are ready to help prepare your client with the assistive technology and computer skills that are a must to be successful. Communotech will arm your client with the most up to date assistive technology and training in the commonly used software- Microsoft applications which include Outlook, Excel, Word and more. We also have the ability to help a client remotely from our office without going to their home, job or school by using PC to PC TANDOM remote access to train a client or to resolve an issue. This can assure quick and prompt service when time is of the most importance.   I am very excited to be working with VR referrals especially your clients that are visually impaired or blind.  I think like a blind person because I am a blind person. I know that I can take a lot of the frustration out of the learning experience for those that are visually impaired by teaching them how to access the world of commuters and employment with no sight.
